By now I'm sure you've all heard of Omega-3's (especially if I know you personally) on the news, ads, retail places, and hopefully your family doctors. Unfortunately despite the widespread attention, most of us are still significantly deficient in Omega-3 fatty acids, especially those of us who follow a traditional American-based diet. The Harvard-based study below concluded that somewhere between 72,000 and 96,000 deaths a year in our country could have been prevented by appropriate intake of Omega-3 fatty acids.
